Welcome to episode 49 of Curiosityness. Oh, we're almost at 50. We're so close. Man, that's a lot of episodes.

world's experts on presidential pets. I have on Andrew Hager and Bill Hellman, and they work at the

Presidential Pet Museum. And this is a pretty fun interview, because it's really a cool part of

history to hear about the presidential pets, especially the older ones.

Because now we're used to dogs and cats in the White House, and, you know, it's fun to see

those cute pictures and everything. But boy, oh boy, there's some crazy stories. Like,

let's see, Andrew Jackson had a swearing parrot.

Calvin Coolidge had a raccoon.

There were tiger cubs that were left in the White House, bear cubs, just a hippo crazy stuff, and we get into all this stuff.

Andrew and Bill, you can tell they really do enjoy this stuff and are passionate about it,

so it's extremely fun to listen to them and talk in depth to them about all this history.
