I'm just going to do a quick little introduction of this project.

It was about two years ago now that I was doing a road trip with a friend of mine, Kellan, who's here as the guy with possibly the biggest beard in the house. But maybe not, there's someone else too.

But we were doing a road trip up to Oregon, and I was telling Kellan about an idea that I had of riding our bikes down the coast.

And, you know, after I got out of high school, I surfed professionally for on the tour and all that stuff for a good 10 years and had a blast doing it. But when I was about 28, I started to really want to learn more about the place that I was from. And, you know,

traveling is amazing. It's really kind of addicting because you get to leave all of those things

that kind of pile up and all, you know, work and family and all these things that make it a little

bit harder to be present at home. So I got really addicted to this, this idea of traveling and the

feeling of it, but I wanted to feel that same thing at home because there's so much history and

there's so much, you know, there's so much for us to learn and understand at home. But anyway, I just really wanted to start to appreciate my coastline and instead of always,

you know, dreaming of leaving, starting to understand where we were from a little bit more.
