Hailing from Long Beach, California, Cold War Kids has amassed a large and devoted fan base and heaps of critical acclaim since its formation in 2004.

Plummer was tapped to fill the drum chair in 2013, but this wasn't his first big break.

As a member of bands like The Shins, Modest Mouse, and the Black Heart procession,

Joe has exhibited a powerfully musical and versatile style that has made him drummer of choice for

many of the West Coast's most popular and revered rock bands of the past decade.

In addition to his work as a hired drummer, Joe is also the guitarist and singer of Built

In Sun, and he's the founder of Hew Time, a percussion ensemble that also features the Melvin's

Dale Crover and Cody Willis.

Hugh Time released their new album's seconds earlier this week.

And I have been waiting, but you need a sign.

And all that this could a sign. My cousin was a little bit older, he's a little bit older.

I have a really big family and they're all from Southern California.

And I was the youngest of, I think, 42 grandchildren, as we termed it.
