Summary
Many women in business spend so much time trying to make the "right" decision that they never give themselves permission to take the next step. The fear of failure, wasted time, lost money, or making the wrong move can keep us stuck exactly where we are. But what if the opportunity you're hoping for is waiting on the other side of the step you're afraid to take?
In today's episode, we're talking about faith, uncertainty, and the courage required to grow a business when you don't have all the answers. Success rarely comes with guarantees, and neither does the next level of growth. Yet every successful entrepreneur reaches moments where they must move forward without knowing exactly how things will unfold. The next idea you pursue, strategy you implement, or opportunity you say yes to could completely change the trajectory of your business.
I also share a personal story about a time when a trusted business professional challenged me to rethink the way I was approaching one of my most successful courses. I wasn't fully convinced, and I had plenty of reasons to keep doing what was already working. But choosing to take that step of faith opened doors I never could have anticipated, leading to new financial opportunities, greater business growth, and eventually being featured in Forbes. Sometimes the breakthrough you're looking for isn't found in staying comfortable, it's found in being willing to take the next step before you can see the entire path.

| 0:27.2 | in the last six years. It's so frustrating. It doesn't matter who. I've talked about that on |
| 0:32.7 | previous episodes or it doesn't matter why. But anywho, it was growing back, like kind of not wonky, but when you lose your hair, it doesn't matter why, but anywho, it was growing back, like, kind of not wonky, but when you lose your hair, it doesn't always, well, you lose it in different places. And so essentially, I had a rat tail in the back of my hair, and some of my hair was coming in, brand new hair on the underneath side that was really short and it's really curly and it's actually really cute but then it was causing like my hair to do a ski slope thing in the back and so I just |
| 0:57.8 | had to cut it all right I just had to get a couple inches off the back and get everything even so now it |
| 1:02.1 | is all even stephen and it is coming back I'm using some incredible hair products that I've been |

| 1:27.0 | funniest picture of when I had had baby number two, and I was feeling frumpy, and I was feeling not cute, and, you know, as we do, as women. And so I told Jason, hey, I think I'm going to get something done with my hair. He's like, all right. So I went to this place in Kansas City, very bougie, down in the plaza, if you're familiar with Kansas City, called Mario Tocose. And it was expensive, probably way more than we should have been paying. You know, that was 27 years ago. But I wanted, like, somebody just look at me and go, you know how you'd look phenomenal if I did this to your hair. So a chick did that. She's like, you know what I think we should do? And I'm like, I don't care what you do. |
| 2:04.3 | Just do it. So she whacked my hair off shorter than what it is now, if you can imagine that. And then dyed it strawberry blonde. And so that was what I most look like little orphany. |
