We have Pam Holland here from Marshall University.

She is an assistant professor and currently serves as

Director of Clinical Education and Department in the Department of

Communication Disorders in the College of Health Professions. She also has a master's

degree from Marshall University.

She coordinates graduate clinical placements within the community and facilitates clinical educational opportunities for speech language pathologist in the tri-state area.

She teaches courses which encompass service learning pedagogical strategies.

Did I say that right? I know what that word is, but I can't say it right. So anyways, Pam came up with the coolest idea.

I'm so glad she emailed me a few months back.

And we were able to get this squeezes episode

and before the end of Disphasia Awareness Month.

But we are going to be talking to Pam and six of her students, a few grad students and a few

undergrad students actually, and she had a great idea because they do an advocacy project

where they reach out to a colleague in a different profession.

So we are going to hear from her students about their experiences and they interviewed

respiratory therapists, dieticians, those are just the only two that I can think of right off the

top of my head, but I have some really great questions and I just love this project and I love that they all agreed to come on
