Polygamy

Yet to this day, polygamy remains one of the least understood principles within Mormonism,

both among LDS Church members and non-members of the Church.

As we seek to learn more about the history and practice of polygamy, perhaps who is better

to hear from than a woman who has practiced polygamy or lived the principle herself for

over 30 years.

Her name is Anne Wilde.

Anne Wilde was raised as a regular member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

In the 1950s, she attended Brigham Young University.

She was sealed in the Los Angeles Temple to her first husband and had three children

with him.
