am Andrew Stords. Have you ever had to face your own mortality? I can probably say that I have not.

I have been very lucky in health in my lifetime. But the conversation that I had that I'll be sharing with you here with tattooer Hana Sonstrom left me really

thinking about my own life and those who are close to me. Hanna was diagnosed with stage four

ovarian cancer, which was an earth-shattering diagnosis for her.

It basically just uprooted all, everything in her life.

It kind of just put the breaks on her career and her interests and probably many things

that I'm not even perceptive of.

So I didn't want to just talk to her and ask her,

what's it like to think you're going to die? I think that she's got a lot of strength and

positivity that's so admirable that it made it easy to talk to her about everything like that.

Hannah. So what do we want to talk about? Oh God. I don't even know. What's new? What's going on?

So I got cancer.

Yeah, I don't know.

It's interesting doing this because tattooing, having, and still is such a big part of my life for so long.

You know, I'm going on 17 years. But then with, you know, being hit with this situation that I'm in and not having been

able to tattoo for the past year and a half, which is easily the longest I've ever gone
