Hey there, Sprouts. Today is Tuesday, October 2nd. It is also the feast day of our guardian angels.

This week on the Catholic Sprouts podcast, we are talking about trust and how we need to place all of our trust in the Lord.

Yesterday we talked about an amazing example of trust, St. Terrez.

Today, with the help and the reminder of our beautiful guardian angels,

we are going to talk about the fact that we need to trust and know and believe that God is

always with us. Now the fact that God went to the trouble to assign each and every human

being on this earth, a guardian angel, is a powerful testament to how much he loves us

and wants to protect us and wants to be with us every moment of the day. Now think about that.

Think about the fact that no matter where you are, whether you're in your car, your classroom, your kitchen, wherever, there is a guardian angel designed specifically for you, given to you specifically from God.

There is a guardian angel there with you. Isn't that powerful?

Try to remember that always. Now, another thing that I want you to remember is a beautiful story

from the gospel, a story that teaches us that God not only gives us what we need, but he gives it to us

by knowing us. God looks at us and he knows us. We are not simply a face in the crowd or a number.

We are a beloved child that he looks on and he knows.

In fact, the Psalms tell us that God knows the hairs on our heads. So he knows us better than we

know ourselves. The story from the gospel I want you to remember is a story

of the hemorrhaging woman. Now this is a little story. It happens on the way. Jesus is walking

through a crowd. He is hurrying to get somewhere to save a dying girl that maybe has already died. That is the big

story. This little story of the hemorrhaging woman happens on the way. Jesus is in the middle of a

big crowd. People are excited to see if he will perform this amazing miracle. And a woman who has been sick and suffering for years.

She believes in Jesus and she believes that if she simply reaches out her hand and touches the
