Summary

This episode is a rant. I want you to understand that before you listen. If you don't like complaining, you might want to skip it.

In episode #4, I talk about my personal experience working in a cubicle in an office for over 1o years and my battle against the following enemies: noise, a stinky office kitchen, bright lights, a painful chair, a lack of control

Formidable foes all, but no match for the ultimate solution: quitting and working from home.

If you like the podcast, please leave a rating and review on iTunes or Stitcher! It would very appreciated.

control. The main reason I wanted to cover these topics today was because when I worked in a

1:03.6

cubicle, I felt like I was the only person who was bothered by my environment. I thought that I was

1:09.5

crazy and weird and just a big complainer because

1:13.7

no one else seemed to be bugged by these things. And I was bothered to the point of where it

1:18.8

distracted me from getting my work done. As always, the point of this podcast is to share my

1:24.3

personal experiences with you in hopes that some of you can empathize and realize that

1:30.0

you're not the only one who feels the way you feel. And get ready because I have a sound effect.

previous job was meant for an average-sized man.

1:46.8

No matter how I adjusted the chair, my back and neck were sore every day.

1:51.2

It got to the point where it started to distract me from my work.

At my previous two jobs, I'd requested and received a new desk chair from my employers.
