So far where I am warbler fall is

mostly ending sparrow fall is ramping up and we've still got duckfall or as most nonbers

call it winter still to come still to look forward to birding had a major milestone this week

that maybe a lot of you missed good news you don't you don't have to miss it if you are a podcast

aficionado you might be familiar with the npr news quiz game show wait wait don't tell me

it was one of the first shows I listen to regularly,

though my podcast cue is pretty backlogged these days. In any case, it is broadcast on national

public radio stations across the United States. I've talked about them on a podcast before,

one time way back when one of the panelists made some bird story references. But this past week,

they featured as a guest, one of our own, the incomparable Jason Ward, host of the web

series, Birds of North America. He was the guest for the not my job segment where they

bring on celebrities to talk.
