Many people battle with perfectionism. God’s mercy in the midst of failure is His remedy for the fear that failure is the end.

0:00.0	So when I was growing up, my parents kind of made me do a bunch of different sports that
0:05.9	I was not good at.
0:08.6	I'm not blaming them.
0:11.2	It was their pressure, though, and it was their genes that I inherited.
0:14.4	So yeah, actually it's their fault.
0:15.8	I was not, I mean, one of the sports that I was very not good at, I was good at it for

0:21.2	I was good at baseball for a very brief moment.
0:23.4	The moment between T-ball and the time when pictures got good.
0:28.2	So that time in between was like the sweet spot for me because that's what I would do.
0:30.8	I would get up to the plate and I would just stand there.

0:36.1	I'm like, take my base.

0:39.9	But it would happen.
0:41.8	The amount of times that I would get to base without swinging the bat were roughly 51%
0:48.0	to my 49% of just standing there and having them throw three strikes and get struck out.
0:52.4	So I'm like, those are not the worst odds in the world.

0:56.2	I would get up to the plate and be like, no, I'll just, they're not good at pitching.
