And we begin with a 10-year-old girl born without hands winning a national penmanship award.

As if to prove what positivity and perseverance can do,

Maryland third grader, Sarah Hinsley just took top honors in the 2019

Zener Blazer

handwriting competition.

Sarah writes by gripping the pencil or pen with her

forearms.

She loves art and sees writing cursive, for which she won the award,

as an extension of her creativity.

If that's not enough, English isn't even Sarah's first language.

She was adopted four years ago and up until that point could only speak and write Mandarin.

For the win, Sarah gets a trophy, $500 and $500 in supplies for her school.

It's okay on the chalkboard, not on your cars.

In a fascinating decision for drivers and soon to be drivers,

an appeals court just ruled that chalking tires is unconstitutional.

You've probably seen it. Parking control officers in

little buggies marking cars to see how long each spends in one spot. It's common in

towns and cities without meters, but a lawyer for a Michigan woman argued that

shocking amounts to trespassing with the intent to collect information and doing so

should require a search warrant. The court agreed. In their ruling, the judges also said the city was
