Homelessness is, well, it's an issue in many cities across the United States.

And here in Southern California, Los Angeles, particularly homelessness is insane.

So we've been dealing with homelessness for years. Money is being thrown at the homeless population.

And in reality, the only way you're going to do this, I mean, permanent homeless housing,

so people who are homeless can get off the street and go into homeless housing or shelters,

but homeless housing is the answer, $500,000 per unit.

So there are all kinds of programs out there.

So our new mayor, relatively new mayor, Karen Bass, she has a program called the Inside Safe

program that also spends just buckets and buckets of money.

And what the Inside Safe program does take people that are on the street and move them

into shelters or medium term housing inside safe.
