Good morning, my friends, my family members of the liberal change community and my

brothers and sisters in Christ.

I just love that you're here with me getting your mindset right to start the day.

It's such an important thing to know that you're thinking according to truth as you begin your day.

And that's what this morning mindset edition is all about.

So this morning I am bringing a passage before us from James Chapter 2 that is perhaps one of the

most applicable mindset passages out there.

And it may not seem like it is at first because it talks a lot about action, but I'm going

to show you how this passage shows us that action flows out of mindset.

This is James Chapter 2 verses 14 through 17.

And there is an extended passage all the way to

verse 26. We'll talk about that in days to come. But

verse 14 starts out this way. James says, what good is it, my

brothers, if someone says he has faith, but does not have works, can that faith save him?

If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you says to them,

go in peace, be warmed and filled.

Without giving them the things needed for the body,

what good is that?

So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.

The reason I say this is a mindset passage is because faith, another word for it could be belief.

So let's think of it that way.

If James says if someone says he has belief but does not have works, can that faith save him? Can that belief save him?
