I didn't have to be sober for the rest of my life today.

Welcome to the Recovery Elevator Podcast. My name is Paul. Thank you so much for joining us.

According to my Recovery Elevator sobriety tracker on my phone, I have been sober for one year, one month, and three weeks.

On today's podcast episode 38. Side note, 38 means I put out a podcast once a week. This is the 38th week that I've had a

podcast come out. Time is flying by. Subriety time is kind of piling up, which is awesome.

But there was a time.

Well, actually lots of times.

I'm going to go with dozens of times.

Maybe 15, you know, let's go to hundreds of times, where the thought of having another year, one month, three weeks of sobriety,

it just simply seemed unattainable.

Actually having one week of sobriety seemed like a milestone that I would never achieve.

So for me to say one year, one month, three weeks, hell I could do a 30 minute podcast for me just repeating that because that is music to my ears.
