Last week when we talked about the untimely death of Lana Clarkson, much was made about whether

her death was by the hands of Phil Specter or, as he claimed, by her own hand.

Just to be clear, I never believed for a second that Lana killed herself.

I don't think I outright said that in the last episode, but I don't think I made any secret

of the fact that I did not believe Specter's versions of events that morning he shot Lana.

There may have been a time when it may have been easier to stage a homicide to appear to be a suicide, but today it

seems as though it would be nearly impossible to do that, to actually kill someone

and somehow fool investigators into thinking that the victim had taken their own life.
