Hugues de la Plaza was a French citizen living in working in San Francisco, California when he was stabbed to death at his apartment in 2007. Because of some contradictions in the crime scene, and possibly a less than stellar police investigation his death was ruled undetermined, pointing to the idea that it was possible Hugues stabbed himself to death, committing suicide. But those who know Hugues, and others who’ve examined the case are certain there is no way Hugues killed himself and his death is clearly a homicide. What resulted was a stalled out investigation and a case that is now almost 11 years cold.
