One pattern that I've noticed as I've interviewed some truly remarkable parents for my podcast over the past eight months is that many of them were raised by remarkable parents.

And of course, this isn't a universal truth because there are some heroic people who were not raised in loving nurturing homes.

And yet they somehow rise above their circumstances and that strength truly amazes me.

But the hopeful pattern that I see both by those who were raised by remarkable parents and continue that tradition of impact and love.

And those who were not raised that way, but are determined to change the cycle in their future families.

Is that the work we're doing now in our homes with our children is going to influence the people that they become.

And hopefully they will become change makers and hope givers and truth teachers in their homes and in the world someday.

And today we have a guest on the show who's doing just that bringing so much hope, light and love to the world.

And like me, she's one of the lucky ones who was raised by remarkable parents in a loving home.
