As always, I'm very excited to have you with us today.

It has been a while since my last few podcasts, especially the one with Grant Palmer.

I want to thank all of you for your overwhelmingly positive feedback about the Grant Palmer Podcast.

I really appreciate all your emails and blog posts thanking me for that.

Grant Palmer thinks you as well.

As a follow-up, we have invited Faire, the apologetic group, to do a response.

And so far, we haven't been able to find the right person for that.

But we still have an open invitation to Faire to provide us with someone to provide a response

or at least paint a mosaic, an alternative mosaic from a faithful perspective of Mormon origins.

Today, I am very, very excited to have with you have with me a very special guest.

His name is James W. Parkinson, or Jimmy as I like to call him.

He happens to be my cousin, but before you become turned off and think that this is just blatant nepotism on Mormon Stories Podcast.

Let me just tell you a little about my cousin, Jimmy.

Jimmy is a graduate of Brigham Young University Law School.

The inaugural class, is that right?

Correct.

But aside from that, he's, I think one of the finest lawyers with Mormonism,

and there's a lot of Harvard grads out there within the blogger knuckle that might take issue to that.

But Jimmy is a trial lawyer at a California.

He's participated on some of the largest cases in the history of the United States,
