Looks like another beautiful day here at the Larry Bird Memorial Baseball Coliseum,

as the Terra Hot Gunblades get set to kick off the 2018 AAA baseball season against the Morrowind Virgins.

As always, I'm Clark Paddington Swips here with the esteemable Kendall Orbison and the always

loquacious Fritz Fielderson.

Folks, how we doing?

It's great to be here, Clark.

We got a real great game ahead of us today, a beautiful day.

We got a balmy 50 degrees, just beautiful

Indiana weather. Kendall, how's it feeling in the booth?

I'm great. I'm great. I'm here. I'm really glad to be here with you fellows. We've got,

like you said, Fritz, we got a good day for baseball. We're here under a tornado watch until

about 9 p.m. But other than that, it's a perfect day to play

some ball. Let's kick it off. All right. Enough about the weather. Let's get ready for our nation's

national anthem. Even though it's cold out, you know, everyone's out here to see the game. And even though

it's a little bit cold, even though it's a great day for baseball,

so let's get it going.

You know how these season openers are,

you know, a little chilly out here,

but it looks like our national anthem singer is about to take the field.
