Today's expression is very good. Listen up carefully.

He is a loose cannon. He's a loose cannon. He is a loose cannon. He's a loose canon. He is a loose, L-O-O-O-S-E, Canon. C-A-N-N-N-O-N. So first of all, we need to understand the word canon, C-A-N-N-O-N.

Canon.

A canon is like a very, very large gun.

But, you know, a gun we can hold in our hand and shoot, right?

Well, a cannon is so big, a cannon we cannot hold in our hand.

It needs wheels.

And we need to pull it with a truck.

Or a long time ago, they pulled it with horses, perhaps even slaves.

And it shoots not a bullet, it shoots a cannonball. So a gun is deadly,

but a gun would only kill one person. A cannon is very deadly. A cannon could kill many people.

A gun cannot break down the wall of a building, but a cannon absolutely can break down the wall

of a building.

So a cannon is just a really super large gun.

Okay?

So he is a loose cannon, loose, L-O-O-O-S-E. What does loose mean? Well, the opposite is tight. So look at the clothes that you are wearing right now. Now, if I look at my clothes, my shirt, I'm wearing a blue shirt today and it's very loose. It's not tight. In fact, you cannot

tell if I'm skinny or fat. You cannot tell if my arms have huge muscles or if they're skinny,
