And if you think about knock-out in boxing, that means hit somebody so hard that they fall

down and they don't wake up, but not for this expression.

To knock yourself out today, the meaning is go ahead help yourself and joy so if a friend comes to your

house and they say do you have any coca-cola you could say knock knock yourself out. Go ahead. Have some of my Coca-Cola. Help yourself.
