Right, well, we'll kick off today. It's another busy weekend of EV News. I've already started

writing Monday's show, so there's loads of stuff going into tomorrow. But there's plenty

happening this weekend that I thought I'd get to, and that includes the Mazda EZ6, launches over

6. Now the EZ6 features a rear mounted electric motor, 190 kilowatts of power, lithium ion

phosphate battery. They gave the 30 to 80% charge time, which is enormously unhelpful.

Can we always get the 10 to 80 please? Just everybody, can we talk 10 to 80?

Because you normally pull into a charger at 10% on a road trip. I mean, some people go deep into the pack,

but either way. And then go to 80% before it slows down. But anyway, the 30 to 80% is 15 minutes.

Two battery options on the new Mazda EZ6, a 56 kilowatt hour version, or a 68.8 kilowatt hour version.

Mazda also provides a range extender version of the EZ6 with a 1.5 litre in line four petrol engine.

It works as a generator for electricity for the LFP pack. They are EREVs, extended range

EVs, the range extender. It's a rex, otherwise called as in BMWI three days, have smaller

battery capacities of 20 or 28 kilowatt hours. Again, they have a plug socket on the side so you can still charge them. So,

you know, I don't mind as long as you can add electricity to it as well. The pure electric driving

range of those is 130 or 200 kilometers if you just want to do the small battery before you
