Well, first of all, thank you for inviting me. I'm excited to be here talking to you today.

I am a planner painter as well as a studio painter. I've been doing this now. Oh gosh I think I first quit my other job and decided to do this full time in about 1996. So long enough to have an opinion about it. And I do this full time and really feel fortunate

that I can call this my full time job. I know that there are a lot of people who would love

to be able to do this as their primary way of spending their days.

And so I never take for granted that I can get up every day

and go in the studio or grab my pack and head outside to paint

and that's considered work.

Yeah, it's an amazing life we have, right?
