Well thank you this is really fun. So tell me a little bit about your background and how you got started as a professional artist.

I count myself really lucky in that my dad was a printer in a small town in New Hampshire and we always had piles of paper and

markers and scotch tape and stuff and my parents really encouraged. They just were always, they hung a lot of really bad

art on the refrigerator and I appreciate that

and I was home school by my mom for a couple of years and during that time she desperately was trying to get me to pay attention to the topics she was trying to teach and discovered

the way I could actually absorb some information would be if she let me kind of do illustrations to graphically express what it was we were studying.

So like for American history, she would let me do dioramas and do a lot of drawings and stuff. So as I grew up expressing myself visually

was sort of the easiest way for me to convey ideas.

So there never was really any question in my mind about

that what I would do with my life would have something to do with visuals.

My goal was, in high school, was to design album covers.
