And we begin with new peepers for three lucky penguins in Singapore. Each of the birds

is elderly and was struggling to see. So in a first-in-the-world procedure, vets performed

cataract eye surgery to remove their cloudy lenses and replace them with crystal-clear

artificial ones. According to CBS News, the new lenses were specially made in Germany

to fit each penguin's eye. A precise process that took two months to complete. But not

all needy birds will qualify for the breakthrough treatment. King penguins were chosen because

they're big and have eyes large and stable enough to hold custom lenses in place.

The surgery was groundbreaking for science and game-changing for the trio of penguins.

The veterinary ophthalmologist that operated noted that the birds moved slower and with

hesitation before the surgery, but are more responsive and active now that they can see where

they're waddling. A few Cinderella storylines are starting to emerge from March madness.

On the men's side, it's Princeton, the first ivy to make it to the sweet 16 since Cornell in 2010.

For the women, it could be Toledo and or Florida Gulf Coast if they win today. But it's the

family affair taking place on the UCLA Bruins that caught our eye.

Jaime Hockey's junior is a 6 foot 7 senior playing for the men. His sister, Gabriela Hockey,

is a 5 foot 11 freshman for the woman. For now, both are still in the championship hunt.

For their parents, it's a dream come true, but keeping up with all their games requires an

Excel spreadsheet. For Jaime and Gabriela, it's all a win-win. As they told CBS News,

we are still doing our own thing, chasing our own dreams. But it's just really cool that we can
