Alright, this is Gary Perish again from CBS4.com.

It's Friday, March the 13th, actually our second straight month with a Friday the 13th.

I just looked at the calendar.

This is the eye on college basketball podcast and I'm joined as I typically am on Fridays

by Matt Norlander and Sam Vassini.

And I guess the big story from Thursday night is these conference tournaments continue

to lead us into selection Sunday.

Was Iowa States come from behind last second, buzzer beating, Monte Moris, game winning

shot, victory over Texas and just a tremendous game, a tremendous shot, a bad moment for

Rick Barnes which leads to all the typical Rick Barnes stuff you hear.

When I woke up this morning, I'm reading things on Twitter and elsewhere about Texas is

on the bubble and Rick Barnes' job is in trouble and I don't doubt that maybe Rick is under

some pressure there and they could theoretically make a coaching change.

I mean we'll see.

But why do people think Texas is on the bubble suddenly?

Norlander, do you have any idea?

Well, yeah, because I think they're on the bubble because they've got 13 losses.

The weird thing with Texas is they don't have a bad loss, right?

The worst loss against Stanford.

We could argue that was the last game last night.

Stanford's probably out, which kind of blows my mind.

Team I-1 said was better than Utah and I'd take it all back.
