Alright, this is Gary Perish again from CVSports.com.

It is now Wednesday March 11th and this is of course the Ion College basketball podcast.

I'm joined today by Rob Dostor from NBC Sports.com and I want to start with the, I guess the

0:25.1

great debate that likely will not end until Sunday night and that's a Murray State. Rob, where are you

0:30.8

on the racers? I recognize and I think everybody recognizes including Steve Prome. They don't have

0:37.1

enough so-called quality wins to warrant a traditional bubble conversation. Still, there's a case

0:45.2

to be made for them. Where do you fall on the Murray State debate? I would love to see them in the

0:49.8

tournament. I think that everything that has been said about them is true that they can be, if I

0:55.8

get a 12 or 13C, they can be a 405C. Camerad Payne is as good as any point card of the country.

1:01.1

They're fun to watch. They probably deserve to get into the tournament based on what they did.

1:08.1

But I don't think that they have a strong enough profile to actually get that did.

1:12.7

And if they do get in, it would mean that the selection committee basically goes against everything

1:18.2

1:24.2

brackets. And I just don't see it happening. I don't think it's fair. But such is life for mid-majors.

1:32.3

I listen to your podcast on Monday and I think your idea is brilliant. I wouldn't even have a

1:38.1

problem if they just added four more at large bids and two more of these playing games just to give

1:43.3

a chance for some of these teams to win their regular season conference titles. But I want to

1:51.1

clarify that with one thing though. I don't think that a team that let's say, you know, a team,

1:56.4

look at the horizon last night, right? So Valparizer with what 13-3 in the regular season at

2:00.9

Green Bay when 12 and 4. I don't think that's enough to necessarily get you into that at large

2:07.2

conversation for winning a regular season title. I think if you dominate your conference, like

2:11.6

Murray State did or like I own it did, then I think you should be allowed in the conversation. But
