Good morning and welcome to Kid News. I'm Tori. Today is Thursday, March 5th, 2020 and we begin

with what do you get when you combine a bionic girl with a Star Wars Jedi. One great story.

11-year-old Isabella Tadlock was born with no fingers on her right hand and no hand at all on her left arm.

Last summer, she learned about a company that made 3D printed bionic

prosthetics, otherwise known as Hero Arms. When her family started an online

fundraiser to help pay the costs, Isabella's nanny got the bright idea to send the link to Mark

Hamill, aka Luke Skywalker, who then retweeted it to his 3.6 million followers.

Soon, Isabella had a new arm with an R2D2 design, no less. Then she got a phone

call from the Jedi Master himself who called her his hero. Now Isabella can ride her bike, play on play structures,

and even blow-dry her own hair.

Her plans for the future, choosing between two dream jobs,

becoming a chef or a bionic arm model.

An MBA Hall of Famer is remembering his roots.

11-time All-Star Alan Iverson delivered a big surprise to students at his high school

alma mater yesterday when he teamed up with Reebuck to cover the college application fees

of all 409 rising seniors.

Maybe you know from older brothers or sisters,

but just one application can cost about $50

and most kids apply to more than one school.

Iverson has a soft spot for Beth Ohio where he was both a starting point guard

and the starting quarterback. But even more important he says were the game-changing years

he spent furthering his education and his sport at Georgetown University.
