Let me tell you about them at the end of the podcast. Today's expression is out in the sticks. Out in? What? The sticks? The sticks is an expression. It just means the country,

the deep country. Why does the sticks means the country, the deep country.

Why does the sticks mean the country?

Well, sticks, STI-C-K-S.

That means, you know, pieces of wood.

So in this case, sticks actually means trees.
