Today's expression, it's not a good one.

It is a good one, but it's, well, it is pushing up daisies.

P-U-S-H-I-N-G, pushing.

Like pushing a door open, or if you wear sunglasses or glasses like me, sometimes, you know, the glasses slide down my nose and I need to push up my glasses so that I can see. So pushing up daisies. That's a flower. Singular daisy, D-A-I-S-Y,

daisies, plural, D-A-I-S- d a i s ies daisies pushing up daisies what does this mean well the daisy the flower where do you find the daisy in a field oh yes imagine big field, a grassy field on a spring day or a summer day,

and you're running outside with your dog and it's beautiful and there's some daisies,

some beautiful flowers in the field. Oh, And you're watching a daisy.

And you see the daisy is close to the ground.

And then suddenly the daisy gets higher and higher and higher.

It's as if somebody is under the ground pushing up the flower.

Who could be under the ground?

Well, a dead person.

If you are pushing up daisies, you are dead.

Yes, only dead people can push up daisies.

It means you're dead.

If you keep smoking, you're going to be pushing up daisies.

One day, all of us will be pushing up daisies. Stop driving so fast. You're going to make us

push up daisies. Yeah, pushing up daisies. Don't say this with somebody you respect.
