So, firstly, before we get into Trashy Beauty and your new podcast, I want to hear a bit

about the role that nature and environmental sustainability played in your life growing up. Can you

tell us a bit about that? Sure, yeah. I was born and raised in Hawaii, on Oahu, Pearl City,

and I left the island when I was 13.

My parents moved us to Las Vegas, which is probably the most opposite place you could go to

live from Hawaii.

And it's something that I don't think I really reflected on how that impacted me and the care
