I think a lot of people worry that, you know, the efforts that they make are not good enough or far enough, and that keeps them for making any effort at all.

I truly believe that we have to celebrate each time we don't pick up a plastic water bottle or we do compost or, you know, we do recycle.

Those are all positive good steps that should lead to more good steps, not beating ourselves

up for the times that we don't.

I would love for you to give a little bit of an introduction to who you are as a person. We'll get into plain products in a few minutes, but I really want to know what your childhood experience was with the environment and with nature growing up. And your sister is your business partner in plain products. And I would love to know how you guys grew up and

how that impacted you both as children. Sure. Two different ways, actually. We were semi-nomadic

as a family, moved around a lot, traveled a lot. So we both kind of just have a love of the world at large.

We were lucky enough to get to see a lot of different places.

And I think that has definitely impacted us having more of a global than just a local perspective.

Our dad also was a serial small business entrepreneur.

So the thought of starting a small business was not scary to either of us.
