Talking about a subject this week that some people are

uncomfortable talking about. Some people have some objections as to why they

can't do it, why it hasn't worked for them.

We're talking about outsourcing and hiring help this week

and why it's so important.

And listen, you don't even have to necessarily have a business to need to be getting some help in your life.

I think sometimes as women, we get so wrapped up in feeling lesser than if we don't do every single thing and it ends up crippling us.

It ends up stressing us out, it ends up overwhelming us, it ends up making us kind of shut down and working ourselves just you know into a

grave sometimes and so we're talking about outsourcing and hiring help and I'm

going to start just by talking a little bit about my story. Look you guys are like three

things in the whole wide world that I'm good at. Hiring help is one of them. I can

paint, I can talk and I can hire help. That's all I can do. That's really all I can do. I can't cook. I hate to clean. But I can hire help. And so listen, I started my painting company, The Magic Brush in Kansas City 17 years ago and shortly after I started it I found out I was pregnant with our first

son Noah and kept painting kept painting the business was going really well

it was doing so good I was getting you know these amazing opportunities

with huge designers who are doing you know million dollar houses in the Kansas

City area and parade of homes things and newspaper articles and all that.

But as with any pregnant person I just kept getting bigger and bigger and

eventually I was the size you know of a small Volkswagen car and and

and it was then that I knew, I really am enjoying this business. I really am enjoying this business. I want to keep this going. I love this. I'm really good at it people are hiring us like how can I keep the

business going and yet you know when you're eight months pregnant it's advised
