Summary

What We’re Talking About In This Episode! Is coffee feeding your chronic stress or fatigue? All the factors that can influence how coffee affects you How green smoothies helped me replace coffee The difference between caffeine in matcha vs caffeine in coffee Ways to give yourself an energy boost without the caffeine Key remedies to help your body have more energy naturally   Episode Summary:  Recently I have been hearing a lot about a controversial subject in women’s health. The question that everyone’s asking me is, ‘is coffee bad for your adrenal health?’. There seems to be a new study every day villainizing our coffee habit, yet we still hear that coffee can be beneficial for many of our bodily functions. Today I am here to set the record straight about coffee and how it is affecting you. Personally, I love coffee, it is part of my morning ritual and something I look forward to, but this wasn’t always the case. For many years I was using coffee to escape my zombie state, and it wasn’t until I broke up with coffee that I found out that coffee wasn’t the whole culprit. Those of us who deal with chronic stress and chronic fatigue often supplement our lack of energy with caffeine. This can plague our adrenal glands which creates a domino effect that puts our bodies at a heightened survival state, which can make us feel awful. Because coffee affects everyone so differently, it is up to us to listen to our bodies and decipher for ourselves what levels of caffeine we can handle. Coffee can have many health benefits as long as it is not being used as a crutch. Do you have a love or a hate relationship with coffee? Today’s episode will help you get your relationship with coffee back on track.
