Welcome back, my friends, to another episode of marketing your business.

Now, today, I'm going to be talking about the worst salesman I've ever encountered.

Now, we've all got preconceived notions of bad salesmen.

But this guy, oh my goodness, he clearly did not understand marketing, did not understand

sales, and did not understand the lifetime value of a customer.

Let me get into it.

Okay.

So this came from a situation where I got in a little

fender bender. So I was coming home one day from the office. Long story short, there was a couple

cars in front of me. One of the cars slammed on their brakes and there was a multi-car little

collision. I was involved in it, which sucked because I love my

Mini Cooper. And unfortunately, my Mini Cooper took a little bit of a hit. And so long story short,

I figured it was just, you know, going to be a few thousand dollars to get it all fixed up.

Insurance would cover it. Everybody would be happy. But it turns out that there was more damage than I

thought, and the insurance company wrote the whole car off. I was like, what? This was like my baby.
