All right guys in this episode, we're going to be going into the controversy that is currently surrounding

Mega Church pastor Andy Stanley. So this is stemming from really one line in his sermon entitled,

Not Difficult.

This was a sermon that he recorded or that he presented probably about three

weeks ago from the time of this recording.

And so this was the quote that got him in all this kind of hot water.

Here it goes.

Peter, James, and Paul elected to unhitch the Christian faith from the Jewish scriptures.

Okay, so a lot of controversy has gone down.

I know a lot of you guys have followed this along,

especially if you're in any type of reform circles

or different things like that.

So we're going to get into all the details about the sermon, kind of where that came from and

everything. But first, I'm not going to assume that all of you know who Andy Stanley is.

So let's do a little background on Andy Stanley so he is a

senior pastor of North Point Community Church which is a huge non-denominational

church in the Atlanta area so if the last name sounds familiar he is the son of Dr Charles Stanley.

So Dr. Charles Stanley, it was a little bit before my time, but he's still recognizable even to me.
