Hey friends, welcome to the Ruth Josim's podcast and welcome to our summer series.

0:23.9

I don't know how summer feels to you these days. I know that when I was a child, it felt like it was so long.

0:30.6

And when I was in college, it felt like a time to just go and enjoy and explore and travel.

0:37.4

And now as a middle-aged woman, sometimes I feel

0:41.1

like summer is a time where I just want to be fruitful, see some progress in my life, catch up

0:48.0

on all the things that I couldn't catch up on when life was so busy in the fall and then in the

1:46.0

to do something new.

1:48.1

And I thought it would just be a good thing for us to think about the fruit of the spirit

1:52.1

as a way in which we can aim for the things that are really the fruitful side of a life hidden in Christ when we abide in him.

2:04.4

And yet, for us to focus on that is not to focus on, how do I get more fruit, but rather how

2:09.6

do we think on the very things that we anchor ourselves to, the very aspects of the Christian

2:17.4

life that we focus on and we anchor ourselves to the very aspects of the Christian life that we focus on and we anchor ourselves
