So tomorrow I will be leaving for New York City with our daughter, Ava, who just gained 18.

I'm recording this the week before. Okay, so let me think. Tomorrow I'm leaving New York City with Ava.

By the time you listen to this, you can watch our little adventure for New York City on Instagram stories. So last year, here's a story. Jason and I took Ava for her 17th birthday to New York City the week before Thanksgiving thinking we would see all the things, unbeknownst to us because we are not

well-traveled when it comes to New York City. We did not know that they don't turn on all the things in New York City,

all the lights and all the things until after Thanksgiving. So her birthday is always the week of

Thanksgiving depending on when Thanksgiving falls. So we left the day before Thanksgiving last year on, you know, when Thanksgiving falls.

So we left the day before Thanksgiving last year, not knowing all the lights would come on after.

So, this year, just mama is taking Ava back for her 18th birthday.

Daddy's staying here at home to take care of the little ones or little one and all the things here in Kansas City. So I am taking

one for the team. It's really, it's hard, guys. It's really freaking hard. And going back to New York

with Ava. So watch on Instagram stories. We're going to have a blast. I cannot wait.

It's going to be so much fun. So anywho, let's go back to gratitude and how it changes everything.

So it seems like a really fitting conversation for Thanksgiving time.

But I was doing some thinking, okay, about the topic of gratitude.

And here's what I was thinking.

But have you ever met someone who is super grateful? And I want you to think, like, of your catalog of people that you know. First of all, have you ever thought to about, like, how many people do I know? Like, if I go over to my Facebook page, my personal Facebook page right now, I think I have like 600 friends.
