average and amazing at the same time. And I got inspired to do this podcast because I want to

encourage you to stop reserving your energy for fear of going too hard. And I think it's better explained

by a personal experience I had in high school as a track athlete. So I should have been really

excellent at track, but I actually wasn't. I was all right, you know, I wasn't bad, but I was okay.

And I say that because I wanted to be in the sexy races all the time. So, you know, the races

that are cool that everybody wants to be in is like 100 meter dash, maybe 200 meter dash. And I was

fast, but not as fast as someone, I guess, who's like shorter than me

or who can run a lot faster. I'm pretty tall, actually. I'm 5'9. And so the coaches always wanted

to put me on like hurdles or high jump or long jump. And I had one coach in particular that was like,

look, you just by your build, you are built

for a 400 meter race. And I was like, are you kidding? I resisted him every step of the way

because a 400 meter is a full out sprint, really, but it's around the entire track. So,
