expanding with rising demand for EVs in New York City. People have been asking, will the city

will the city's charging infrastructure keep pace? Well, to address this, Tesla has bought a 40,000

square foot parking lot in Queens for $18 million. It's at 4826.254th Road.

This site will become a large supercharger facility to relieve charging congestion in the area.

Actually, DC fast charging in New York City is not a common thing. Well,

Tesla's director of charging signed the deal, saying Tesla's plans to build a supercharger site

there, while the exact number of charging stores hasn't been specified. We know what Tesla do.

If they can get the power supply into a site, they pack it with superchargers. And they just do it in style, don't they?

And so the size of the property suggests that this is going to be a significant installation,

an addition to their network. The lot currently includes 55 regular parking spots and three

accessible spots. So that's what it costs in New York City,

in Queens. If you're going to buy a piece of land that can fit 55 cars or 58 cars, well, there you go.

It's going to cost you $18 million. Given the high cost of space, of land, of dirt in the area,

purchasing it outright is likely more economical than Tesla leasing the land.
