Good morning and welcome to kid news, I'm Tori.

Today is Friday, February 25th, 2022, and we begin with the United States and the 29 other

NATO countries meeting today to deal with the biggest crisis in Europe since World War

2.

All troops are attacking neighboring Ukraine from the land, sea and air, hoping to topple

the government and pull that independent nation back under Russian control.

President Biden calls the invasion unjustified and Mr. Putin a bully and warned that the

aggression will not go unanswered.

America stands up to bullies Mr. Biden said yesterday and we stand up for freedom.

He also may clear his response won't include US troops fighting the Russians.

Still, an additional 7,000 American soldiers are headed in that direction, but their mission

will be to shore up the borders of countries that are part of NATO, in case Mr. Putin's

land grab doesn't stop with Ukraine.
