Good morning and welcome to Kid News. I'm Tori. Today is Wednesday, February 24th, 2021,

and we begin with stunning images and the first-ever audio recording from Mars. NASA released

a treasure trove of space jewels yesterday, including video shot by Perseverance of its

own landing. A full-color panoramic of the red planet created from more than 20,000

individual images and the first sounds of a Martian breeze. You need a good set of headphones

to hear it, but for the most part, the recording sounds like wind here on Earth. However, there

are some key differences because the atmosphere is different on Mars, noise travels slower,

is more muffled, and some high pitches like the Tweet of Birds or Shrill of a Whistle

wouldn't be heard at all. For those who want to see the video or hear the Martian wind,

Tiger Woods will be off the course for a while, the legendary golfer underwent surgery

yesterday for multiple leg injuries after losing control of his car on a steep curvy

road outside of Los Angeles. Tiger lives in Florida, but was in California to host the

PGA Genesis Invitational. He's been off the links competitively since December when he

had his fifth back surgery, so his duties at the Invitational were limited to giving

on-course lessons to a number of celebrities. Messages of support are coming in from

all over, including from Magic Johnson, LeBron James, Alex Rodriguez, former President Trump,

Skier Lindsey Vaughan, and Tigers Fellow Golfers. How do you move a 139-year-old house from

one place to another? Very carefully, especially on a downhill.

Spectators lined the streets in San Francisco last weekend to watch as one of the city's
