And we begin with an exceptionally large black bear known as Hank the Tank, now on California's

most wanted list.

The 500-pounder is broken into dozens of homes in South Lake Tahoe, hoping to get his big

old paws on leftover pizza and garbage.

Officials say Hank's antics are especially dangerous because he's lost all fear of

people.

Case in point, last week he broke a small window and squeezed his big body through

to enter a house while the owners were inside.

They had no idea how to get him out and, given his size, wisely didn't try.

The sheriff's department did, but from a safe distance, banging on the outside until

the bear tired of the noise, sontered out the back and slipped away.
