Hello there, this is Jerry Perry from CD of awards and this of course is the I-On College

basketball podcast.

It's nice to be back.

I got Matt Norlander here with me.

I got San Vassini with me and we're going to talk about college hoops in just a moment

of promise.

But first, if you'll bear with me, I just want to take a minute and tell everybody how

much I appreciate the kind messages my wife and I have received over the past week.

I imagine if you're listening to this podcast that you probably listened to the last podcast

or you probably follow me on Twitter or Facebook or somewhere which means you likely know

But if not, here's the deal.

My wife Kelly and I were expecting our third son here in the next few months.

Matt and Sam and I had actually talked about it on this podcast before the pregnancy

was going perfectly.

We had been on a baby moon.

There were no issues.

But early last week, she just didn't feel right.

So she went to the doctor and asked for an ultrasound and there was no heartbeat.

They knew immediately and I guess because that's the type of thing you know immediately.

And the meantime, I was in New York.

I was actually doing a radio segment at that time.
