In this episode, we have a review of Port Orleans French Quarter, Disney's Moderate Resort, and let me preface what?

It's not like you're going to say something else, Disney's, what are you going to say?

Let me preface this by saying that Port Orleans French Quarter kind of holds a special place in my heart.

It was actually the first Disney-owned on-site property I ever stayed at.

My very first time on property was at the Dolphin, but my first time staying at a Disney-owned resort was Port Orleans French Quarter.

In that particular trip, it was very memorable, it was a great time, loved it, loved the resort, had a really memorable experience.

So I was kind of anxious to go back and experience it again.

It's been a while since I've stayed there. It's been at least, so I want to say about eight or nine years, since I've stayed there.

And because we've had basically such good luck with these resorts, and since we started doing the resort reviews again, we've had really good experience.

I guess I kind of went in expecting that this was going to be a good one.

Well, you didn't have any reason to believe it wouldn't be.

No, I didn't. But lo and behold, if you are a fan of Port Orleans French Quarter, you are probably not going to enjoy this review.

I'm going to start by saying that we got a good rate on this room.

Annual Pass Holder rate, $120 a night. For a premium view room, we had a view of the Sassagula River.

And that was a great price for this. This was in January, mind you, so it's off-season.

But that was a great rate and decided for this one that we were going to bring my mom.

And so mom had the room right next to us. We had connecting rooms with mom.

And from the beginning, this was a challenging stay.
