We begin with Philadelphia students scoring the ultimate extra point, no school today.

Nearly 200,000 kids will get to play hooky today as the city shuts down for the Eagle

Super Bowl victory parade. The celebration, which is expected to draw a million fans,

kicks off at 11 a.m. outside Lincoln Financial Field. It will then make its way through town

before players and coaches descend the famous rocky steps at the Philadelphia Art Museum at two.

At least one school district in nearby New Jersey is also shedding its classrooms today.

Several of its districts even gave their students a late start last Monday so they could stay

up to watch. Superstition, however, required Philly students to be in their seats on time.
