And we begin with kids from coast to coast warming up for the annual Sugar Coma, otherwise known as Valentine's Day.

And while it seems like the holiday has been around forever,

it really hasn't, at least not in the U.S.

The tradition actually began in England hundreds of years ago with

cards between friends and family. It only jumped the Atlantic to the United States

in the mid-1800s, after which it steadily morphed from simple heartfelt greetings to big business.

Retailers expect to make $20 billion this Valentine's Day, with a third of that coming from flower sales.

Fun fact in Roman mythology red roses are the favorite of Venus the goddess of love and in terms of cards

bought and scent Valentine's Day is second only to Christmas.

Today may be a day for sweets, but the news from Disneyland in Anaheim, California is pretty darn sour.

The self-proclaimed happiest place on earth just jacked up single day ticket prices to more

than $200.

The park's new multi-tiered fee structure is confusing at best, and the historically

high $209 it now costs just to get in the gate only applies to high demand days. Families who visit at less

popular times will still pay less, but even those tickets went up this week. The last

time Disney Hiked Fares was 13 months ago right before it opened its

new Star Wars land. Despite the heart-stopping cost of admittance, Disneyland says, attendance continues

to climb.
