This is handle on the law, marginal legal advice, where I tell you, you have absolutely no case.

Now, I have come up through the years with just reporting on crazy-ass defenses that people come up with.

The devil made me do it.

I was involved in looking someplace else because everybody

looks in that direction. I mean, just over and over again, as far as the defenses are concerned,

particularly DUI. Well, here's another one I'm going to share with you. And this is up in Northern California,

actually a little town called Yucaya. So a man is guilty, well, he's guilty. He's charged with

driving under the influence. And it wasn't a whole lot over the blood alcohol level.

And it was just right at 0.08, which is the legal level for drunk driving.

So they charged him.

And he sits down with his defense attorney and here is the crazy defense he comes up with.

Just as weird as anything.

He was cheating on his wife, and she found out about it.

And she confronted him with the girlfriend and the wife at the same time, because he had told

the girlfriend he wasn't married.

So now the two women are there in a confrontation with him.

And he gets the hell out of Dodge.

Man, he just jumps in his car and leaves.

There is a law on the books in California that if there is an emergency and one does something

to prevent bodily harm either to themselves or others and the driving did not create a greater danger than the one that's avoided and had no choice.

But to do that, that is not guilty by law.

In other words, but the jury or the judge has to buy, number one, that he bailed out because he didn't want
