Before I take your calls, I want to open up some scriptures in John's Gospel and

Matthew's Gospel. In John's Gospel in the fourth chapter, Jesus said that the Father is seeking

people to worship Him in spirit and in truth, in spirit and in truth. And then in Matthew 22, Jesus rebuked some of the religious

leaders and said that you're mistaken because you don't understand the scriptures or the power of God.

It is important that we are people of the spirit and people of truth. It is important that we are people who

understand the power of God and the scriptures. It is not either or. The reason that I am so strong

on the things of the spirit for today, the reason that I so emphasize the power of God today

is because of what's written in the word.

As I wrote in my book, Authentic Fire, I am charismatic because I am Sura.

The scriptures speak of certain things. The scriptures are my God. The scriptures are my authority.
