Hello and welcome to the Diz on Plot Grandtable discussion for the week of February 8, 2012.

From Orlando, Florida, I'm your host Pete Werner joined at the table this week by my good

friends, Kathy Whirling, Teresa Eccles, Max Eccles, Kevin Close and John Meijai, and this segment,

Teresa and Kathy are going to do their Animal Kingdom 101 segment, assuming that's going to tell us

what you need to know about getting around Animal Kingdom. I was at what it was supposed to be,

okay? Now it does. I guess I'll start. I have not went into this not a big Animal Kingdom fan,

I love animals, I love plants, I love nature, but what I think of Disney, I don't really think of

the Animal Kingdom. It was always a half kind of a half thought of, oh, you know, we'll go to Animal

Kingdom too, but I came out of this investigation feeling differently. No, see how I came out feeling.

I think of Animal Kingdom as a half day park. Teresa, you still feel that way? Yes, I started out

that way, and I've changed my mind on this because of all of the things that are there to do,

and all of the, I would say, non-traditional Disney things that you can do there that you don't,

like I said, not necessarily think of Disney. Do you think you look at it more with a

mother with a child type of thing or the child of a certain age? I do look at it that way because of

all the things, and when we got home in the day Kathy, I was thinking, you think about education

and going to Disney, and you always think we go to Epcot, but Animal Kingdom has so much

education and value, believable value, and if you were to experience everything there is to offer,

you got more than one day there, Kathy, not just a little half a day. Really? I think it depends what

you're going to the park for, and I also think that if you're talking younger kids, are they going

to want a whole educational day? But it's fun educational. Granted, if your child is in the mindset

of they like animals and they like nature, and you know, I've got one child that absolutely loves
